Bridal showers walk a fine line. They need to feel celebratory but distinct from the wedding. They also need to feel separate from a baby shower (a real concern we hear from brides). Here is how we design them.

Lean into the bride's wedding palette but lighter. If her wedding is blush and burgundy, do the shower in pure blush. If her wedding is sage and ivory, do the shower in cream with sage accents. The shower should feel like a preview, not a duplicate.

A single floral arch or half arch is enough. Bridal showers do not need a ten foot floral wall. A six foot half arch over a sweet table is more than enough.

Custom signage anchors the room. A welcome sign with the bride's first name and a quote. Place it at the entrance and use it as a photo backdrop later.

Dessert table over dinner. Most modern bridal showers are afternoon events. A long dessert table with the bride's favourites is the heart of the room. Macarons, fruit tarts, mini cakes, all curated for the palette.

Games and favours need a setup. Build a station with the games (a sign in tree, advice cards) and small favour bags on a side table. Add a small floral arrangement and a sign so it does not feel like a leftover corner.
