Baby Shower Decor Trends for 2026

Baby showers in 2026 are leaning more design driven and less themey. Parents want photo worthy setups that do not feel infantile. Here is what is working across the GTA.

Garden florals over a balloon arch. The combination softens the balloons and adds a grown up touch. Soft pink and ivory for girls, sage and cream for neutral, dusty blue and white for boys. The whole installation reads sophisticated.

Dessert tableaus with custom signage. A long table dressed in a runner, layered cakes and sweets, fresh florals on each side, and a custom welcome sign or framed photo of the parents. Guests photograph the dessert table more than the new parents.

Gender reveal setups need their own moment. A simple stand alone arch with the colour reveal element (smoke bombs or balloon pop), shot from outside before the reveal. The whole installation lasts ten minutes but becomes the photograph of the day.
